Tune In Tomorrow

My brother-in-law extraordinnaire, Bill, is a member of Animotion, the 80s band that had us all sizing up our romantic conquests while thinking like a buttah-fly, a wild buttah-fly, I will collect you and capture yoooouuuu.... (That's him singing on Obsession!)

I mention this now because tomorrow night—yes, tomorrow night!—Bill and his bandmates will take NBC's Hit Me Baby 1 More Time stage by storm and hopefully stomp Juice Newton, PM Dawn, Missing Persons, and Shannon into pop music pulp with their performance of Dirty Vegas' "Days Go By."

And now tell me. How fun is that?!! It could only be more fun if Pat Benatar was on, too, singing Shakira's "Wherever, Whenever."

Isn't tomorrow night your movie date night? Good thing you can record it. Everything happens at once.

Phew! What a close call. You do live a charmed life. Happy Date Night. "I will watch tomorrow night and shout I kinda know that famous guy there!" The dog will be very impressed.

This was "pre" Ver&Andy wedding, the groomsman who escorted me down the aisle. It was Senior year, Disneyland, Grad Night.. There it was, a picture of me and few senior friends "attacking" a poor Animotion band member.. Can you guess who it was??

OK, I just checked out the Animotion website: six guys with big hair. Which one is your brother-in-law--???!!@@

SHUT UP! Just SHUT UP! I've been meaning to ask you if Animotion was going to do Hit Me... this oughta be hysterical.
Thankfully, Bill STILL has hair and hasn't put on any significant weight (Unlike the scary Flock of Seagulls guy). Just please, please tell me that he's going to leave the shoulder pads at home.
Marianne, he's the one on the far left of the photo on the front page of their website.
I'm very excited about this news. Very, very excited.

Okay, is it right or left? Does he have the black leather jacket on? Does he have black fluffy hair? I really need to know this if I'm going to pretend I know him. Robert knows the group and the songs. I was impressed.

Far right, plain black leather trench, black shirt. He's got a bit of an afro going in that picture...

Last night's show was awesome! I was bragging to my husband, "See that guy? Well, in my friend's blog..."

By the way, you can vote on who you want to win tonight at their website. I'll put in my vote for Animotion.
