yumm sky flakes! um, you should ask tony robles about a certain "cracker" offense he once made....
Are you two sitting in an internet cafe somewhere? Together? And are you dressed as your avatars? Because that would be. so. cool.
LOL yes ver, i am dressed as a monty python knight who says ni!sadly, i am not sitting with oscar however, which would be the only thing wrong with this picture.
well, i always look like my avatar thanks to the portable lighting unit i keep in my backpack. ;-)thanks for the cool thoughts, ms ver. and the extra cool thoughts, ms barbara jane.now ima head to my local filipino grocery shop (only five blocks from my job) and try to find me some Sky Flakes!
Oh, sure, it's my blog, and she gets the "extra" cool thoughts. *strikes the what's-wrong-with-this-picture? pose*S'okay. I understand. She's pretty cool.
This is very cool, but I can't find it! *whine*You got into McSweeney's?! That is so awesome. I've been experiencing Skyflakes recently - I'd never had any until I read your poem and my mom happened to have some in her cupboard when we visited Memorial Weekend. They're...strange after eating Premium Crackers all my life. But good. I like the distinctive coconut flavor.
Ha?! Click on that first link and scroll down a little. I'm after the "McDonalds/OJ Coffee Combo" one...SkyFlakes rule!!
Found it! Under the link "reviews of new food" Very cool. Congrats again!
well done Ate V.! I'm quite proud and jealous at the same time. I should fill you in on my second Sedaris encounter some time soon!
Thanks guys! Lu, I'm trying desperately to find the link to an article about Sedaris I read last week. Something about how he's losing his edge...complete hogwash, of course!!
