I remember being worried, as a kid, about the woman. I thought back then that she looked especially uncomfortable, besides being ignored by Herb. And what was up with her back, so rounded and all?
I've always thought of her as one of those vintage Vogue models with cigarette holders; I think this was a signature pose. Just pretend she's wearing a black Chanel suit and white pillbox hat.
Herb is ignoring her because nothing comes between him and his trumpet (except Lani Hall, I guess)! Either that or he's embarrassed by his bolero jacket and can't bring himself to look at her...

So right, but now I have the theme to the Dating Game running through my head.
...thanks...
Srsly, very cool memories of that album. I'll need to somehow get it on my iPod.
why does this look like something one would send through baduy gifts on fb?
Hahahahaha! It does, admittedly, straddle the sometimes fine line between "baduy" and "sublime."
You are a very strange person.
You've known me my whole life, and you're only now getting a grip on my...quirks?
it's the two guys in the hats in the background, isn't it?
